This was a very busy weekend for our two companies, since we had six weddings. We even had to enlist my dad Vernon Jackson, who is semi-retired to help. Fortunately for me both my weddings today were on the same part of Seven Mile Beach, one at the Marriott Resort and the other at Laguna del Mar condos.

Grand Cayman Beach Wedding for Georgia Law Enforcement Officers

Sometimes couples send me little snapshots of their courtship, like how they met, how long they've been together etc. and this helps me put together a romantic marriage ceremony which has particular meaning for them. Of course each couple gets a copy of their personalised marriage ceremony script to keep.

Here comes the bride, from La Grange, Georgia where both bride and groom are in law enforcement.

They were on a cruise accompanied by the groom's sister and her husband.

They chose a Unity Sand Ceremony and brought their own vase.

This was one of the prettiest Memory Vases I have seen. The foundation in chocolate brown was poured by the groom's sister. The bride chose emerald and the groom chose sapphire. I topped it off with a blessing and some white sand from world-famous Seven Mile Beach.

This was what I call a "walk-in" (cruise in?) wedding in that this young couple, who live and work in Georgia, called me while I was in New York with just a couple of days to go before their big day. Not to worry, I could put it together from NY thanks to the wonders of technology and the excellent vendors I have been working with for many years. Cayman Easter Wedding at Boggy Sand Road for Connecticut Couple

The bride's parents live and work in Cayman, and contacted me months ago to book the date. Holy Saturday is a popular day for local weddings, and a day I don't usually do beach weddings because all our beaches are chock-a-block with people camping out for the long Easter weekend.
However, after checking out several popular wedding beaches the bridal couple chose this quiet spot off Boggy Sand Road. In the background is the sea-wall constructed after Hurricane Ivan.

The petite bride was stunning in a coco-rum lace bridal gown, and carried a bouquet of white hydrangea and mini calla lilies.

The wedding started at 6 pm, as sunset is getting later now as we get closer to summer.

I took this shot as I was leaving from near the sea wall. The point of land near the setting sun is called Northwest Point and it is in the district of West Bay. This is the northern -most part of Seven Mile Beach, and since it is just opposite our office, the area where we do most of our sunset weddings.

Simple Cayman Islands Beach Wedding for Illinois Couple and Family

We are just back from West New York, visiting with our daughter, son-in-law and grand-puppy.
Fabulous trip, lots of shopping ladies...new hat, No. 44 coming up shortly!

Here is a wedding I did on 1 April for a lovely family from Aurora, Illinois, traveling on Carnival cruise lines. It was important to this couple that the bride's two teenaged daughters were included in the ceremony. I wrote a special part into the ceremony for the groom to say. He also gave each girl a small silver ring as a memento of the day.

Here we are at My Secret Cove, which was the perfect spot for an intimate family wedding.

I happen to one of the people who likes rocks, because of the texture they add to the scenery,
There is a natural step in the rock here, which creates a little staging area for the couple to stand on.

This lovely bouquet of silk lilies was created by the bride, who brought them with her.

As predicted. the girls enjoyed the natural beauty of this special spot.

They even found a local pirate, who was happy to pose with them.

This shot was taken at Smith's Cove, it's one of my favourite scenes because the white sand on the rocks looks like snow.
