I will meet you when you disembark and complete the documentation for your Special Marriage License. If its only the couple, Simply Weddings provide the witnesses. (There is a charge for this, recently instituted, as per the Cayman Islands Marriage Law).
I like MSC because it provides shade from what can be a very hot morning. As you can see, it also provides privacy
I am not a "Reverend" but I do deeply spiritual ceremonies with beautiful words which are tailored to the couple. Most ceremonies include a prayer, or a blessing ie the Apache Wedding Blessing, or the Irish Marriage Blessing. If you would prefer not to have a prayer, that's fine with me, I am equally comfortable with a civil ceremony. My correct title is Civil Registrar of Marriages, and this means I am licensed and recognised by the Cayman Islands Government as authorised to conduct marriages in the Cayman Islands. It is my responsibility to file your marriage with our public records office, and to send you the Registered Marriage Certificate
which is your legal document.
I belong to the Association for Wedding Professional Internation (AfWPI) and abide by their Code of Ethics. I require a high standard of services from my vendors, especially my photographers. (No fuddy-duddy stuff, a wedding is supposed to be fun!)
I love this shot, groom holding the Certified Copy of the Marriage Certificate, and bride holding her Tropical bouquet. This is the "Hooray, we did it!" shot.
I like this quiet shot at the end of the wedding album. An alternative is the walking off shot if you don't want to get wet.
