Unity Sand Ceremony & Wedding on Grand Cayman Beach

Getting the wrinkles out of the dress outside their state-room on the cruise-ship

Don't underestimate the planning a Destination Wedding takes when you are coming on a cruise-ship. This is further complicated when there is a group of people, in this case 16 which you have to move from Point A to Point B. Fortunately this Bride is a master-planner, she started working with Simply Weddings one year in advance, and this paid off because the wedding went off without a hitch.

Getting ready in the Simply Weddings bridal room

This was the set-up at Mary Mollie Hydes Beach, it was an extremely hot day for November

The ceremony was very casual, it takes about fifteen minutes

Bride and Groom pose with their champagne cork, a souvenir of their first drink together as husband and wife.

Chilled champagne and sparkling non-alcoholic cider served on the beach was part of this package.

The Unity Sand Ceremony performed after the wedding vows, but before the pronouncement

and Stingray makes three, for this Grand Cayman Wedding

This couple from British Columbia were all set to come to Cayman by cruise-ship when they found their ship did not plan to stop in Grand Cayman so they flew in instead, and ended up having a much more relaxed time.

At Governor's Beach, after their wedding ceremony

I love these shots of Seven Mile Beach with the blue water and the pink sand

Cool "Just Married" matching shirts, here they are about to get on Capt Marvin's boat for a tour of Stingray City

They got some very nice pictures, it was obvious a lot of thought had gone into planning their dream wedding in Grand Cayman.

What a huge stingray! Can you see how shallow and clear the water is at Stingray City?

This was an unforgettable wedding memory

All the Stars were out to celebrate

And a great day was had by all!

Grand Cayman Golf Course Wedding on 18th Hole

This visiting physician and his longtime attorney companion were on a golfing holiday over the Thanksgiving holiday, staying at the Grand Caymanian Beach Suites, and decided the 18th hole of the Britannia golf-course was the place for their afternoon wedding today.

I was happy to oblige, here we are. Behind us are the Britannia condos

We went back to the clubhouse to sign the paperwork

Staff at the clubhouse served as impromptu witnesses to the wedding.

And of course they had a "proof" shot

Here's Your Chance for a Cayman Wedding Blessing

There are many reasons a couple might choose to renew their wedding vows and get their wedding rings re-blessed. Often this ceremony can be a tangible sign of a new start in their relationship. I call these ceremonies a "Wedding Blessing" and I will do them for couples who have not been married for very long. Sometimes I do them if the couple had a civil ceremony and they want the memory of the beautiful words of our wedding ceremony accompanied by beautiful pictures in an exotic wedding destination like the Cayman Islands.

This was a very photogenic couple, married a few years the husband is in the military. Of course we gave them complimentary champagne as we do for all active servicemen, firefighters and policemen. We like to show our appreciation for the men and women who keep us safe.

This couple came in on a cruise, and we did their Blessing ceremony at My Secret Cove, however many of these pictures are taken at Smith's Cove

We require two witnesses for a Wedding Blessing certificate, here's Peggy being one of them.

Posing with Joy. In case you wonder why there's always a picture of me in these entries, its because I'm usually the one doing the meet and greet for our cruise couples, and I want to make sure you recognise me.

This couple had a lot of fun trashing the dress in the sea at Smith's Cove. It was in the mid-eighties that day too, so cooling off in the water was a good option.

Luckily on this day the cove was virtually deserted.

Sunday Afternoon Wedding, Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman

I don't do many Sunday afternoon weddings, but I will do them when required. There is a surcharge for Sunday weddings.

This couple were staying at the Ritz Carlton, together with their witnesses. We took them down to Mary Molly Hydes beach, as this part of Seven Mile Beach is likely to have less people on a Sunday afternoon.

This week we have had several enquires about the location of our office, especially from stay-over guests. We are located at 306 North Church Street in George Town (in the ERA Kirkconnell Realty Building). We are about one block away from The Wharf Restaurant, one of Cayman's excellent restaurants and a good spot for a wedding since it has its own private beach.

We are an independent, full service wedding services vendor in the Cayman Islands, specialising in simple, personalised wedding ceremonies for cruise and stay-over visitors at hotels and condos in the Cayman Islands. Call today at (345)9499933 or (345) 5256551
