Red Letter Day for Cayman Islands Wedding Couple

Today is a rainy Monday, and Remembrance Day, a public holiday in the Cayman Islands. The Simply Weddings office is closed, but nontheless I have two weddings today. The first took place this morning at the Grand Pavillion, famous because Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II stayed there some years ago when it used to be a hotel.

This fountain graces one corner of the Grand Pavilion atrium, and this is where the wedding took place.

The wedding cake was a work of art, 5 tiers, made with love by the groom's aunt

Ceremony by Joy for Cayman Weddings. Local couples must be interviewed and their Banns of Marriage published for 7 clear days before they can be married. Call Cayman Weddings (45)949-8677 or Simply Weddings (345)9499933 if you are a Caymanian or a resident wishing to be married. Individuals on a work permit are considered residents and therefore they must be married by Banns and not by Special Marriage License.
