Governor's, Grand Cayman Wedding for Wilmington NC Visitors

The unsettled weather caused by a late season tropical storm continued this afternoon, and we thought at one point we would have to look for a covered spot for this beach wedding for a Wilmington, NC couple. However, at the appointed hour the rain held up and we had the ceremony on the beach in front of the Governor's residence. Because it was a public holiday the beach at the Westin where the couple were staying, and Governor's beach were both quite busy.

A very simple ceremony for a very simple beach wedding on Seven Mile Beach

One they get to keep, one goes on my Marriage Book (this was Marriage 143 for 2009) and I will file one with the Registrar of Marriages tomorrow. The next day I will get their Registered Marriage Certificate, their legal marriage certificate, which I will mail to them to the address on their Special Marriage License.
