Getting Married in Grand Cayman on a Public Holiday

Ash Wednesday is a Public Holiday in Grand Cayman, and if you wish to be married on that day or any of the other nine Public Holidays in the year, then I must make special arrangements, the same applies to visitors who wish to be married on Saturday, or Sunday. This group from Ontario, Canada traveling by cruise ship made arrangements to be married and I performed the ceremony in West Bay, on Mary Molly Hydes Beach.

The bride is escorted by her dad, in the background is Alfresco's Restaurant. I use this spot often for groups because it is a convenient meeting place, and because MMH beach is normally very quiet.
The ceremony, with witnesses standing by to help with the bouquet and the rings

The bride chose a special order bouquet of cymbidium orchids, with a matching orchid in her hair and for the groom's boutonniere.

Sip and kiss and make a wish!

The whole group including the bride and groom's little boy.

It was a beautiful winter's day, and the colours were bold and crisp so they got some very nice photographs from Marcos Montana. Ceremony by Joy of Weddings for Cayman Weddings, flowers by Trisha's Roses. Call me to make your Cayman Cruise Wedding happen, (345)5256551, or email me at mywedding@candw.ky
