So you're vacationing in Grand Cayman, and you think, wouldn't it be a good idea to get married? All you have to do is ask the captain of your dive boat, your hotel concierge, your taxi driver or the sales lady when you start looking at rings...nine times out of ten you'll be directed to Cayman Weddings, the oldest and most experienced wedding celebrants and planners in the Cayman Islands, in business for 25 years.
This couple contacted us yesterday, and today I officiated at their Smith's Cove wedding. We went up on the rocks to get privacy, for Smith's Cove is a very popular spot for swimming and sun-bathing on a Saturday afternoon.
The bride's sister ordered this bouquet and had it delivered to the Marriott where they're staying. I really liked it because of the variety and colours of small orchids, buttons and pin-cushions. I think there were a few birds of paradise in there too.
"You may kiss your wife!" The bride found this most appropriate dress in one of the boutiques at Camana Bay.
Ceremony by Joy for Cayman Weddings. Flowers from the Ritz Carlton. Photos supplied.
