Wedding Ring Souvenir Bowl for your Cayman Beach Wedding

Just down North Church Street from our office, close to the waterfront Burger King, is a most interesting gift-shop, the Island Glass Blowing Studio

This is a family owned and run business where you can watch son Oliver work the glass in the furnace, and then take home your own unique souvenir of the Cayman Islands.

I went over there last week because I had an idea for a Cayman Wedding Souvenir which would be both useful and practical. I do a lot of beach weddings, and couples tend to get nervous about
some-one dropping one of their rings in the sand. This can get a bit fraught if children are involved, since ring-bearer pillows don't work well for a beach wedding.

Carol wraps the prototype wedding ring bowl, done in aqua glass. I promptly ordered another one done in sapphire for a wedding gift.

Island Glass Blowing Studio designed and made this wedding ring bowl for me which can be accented with different colour ribbons. The bowls themselves can be any colour you want, the ribbons keep the rings safe until its time for the ring exchange part of the ceremony.

Stephen and the guys in front of the furnace, stop in for a free demo and to browse this lovely shop.

I noticed these lovely Christmas ornaments and other Christmas gifts were on sale this month.

These lovely wedding ring bowls can be ordered in advance through Simply Weddings, or by going direct to Island Glass Blowing Studio. They also make great bridesmaid gifts, and favours for mothers and grandmothers. They can also be engraved with the names of the bride and groom and the date of the wedding.
